Strike Against CHL Lifted

The Central Hockey League has recently agreed to meet PHPA representatives in Denver, CO on Wednesday, October 8th and Thursday, October 9th in an effort to advance collective bargaining negotiations.

Given the players' encouragement by the League's willingness to meet to advance negotiations and deal with jointly agreed upon time sensitive issues, and in an effort to ensure there are no disruptions or distractions with respect to the charity games scheduled for October 8th (in support of Les Borsheim and the Rob Guinn Memorial Fund), the PHPA is lifting the strike which commenced on October 1, 2008 against the Central Hockey League, effective immediately.
