February BioSteel Award Recipients

The Professional Hockey Players’ Association and BioSteel are pleased to announce the February 2017 PHPA-BioSteel Performer of the Month Award recipients from the American Hockey League (AHL) and ECHL.
Troy Grosenick of the San Jose Barracuda receives the AHL BioSteel Award for his high performance and consistency demonstrated throughout the month of Febuary. Grosenick started and won 9 games during the month, posting a 9-0-0 record along with a 1.88 goals-against average and .933 save percentage including one shutout. The Barracuda currently sit atop the AHL’s overall standings.
In the ECHL, Matt Garbowski of the Colorado Eagles receives the BioSteel Award for demonstrating high performance and consistent play after recording 19 points in 12 games throughout February. Garbowski recorded points in all 12 games including 5 multi-point performances, finishing the month with 5 goals and 14 assists.
Both players will receive a prize package courtesy of BioSteel in recognition of their accomplishments throughout the month of February.
