(Niagara Falls, ON) The Professional Hockey Players’ Association (PHPA) is pleased to announce that Graham Mink (Providence Bruins) and Brandon Segal (Hartford Wolfpack) have been elected to the 2013-14 PHPA Executive Committee, while Adam Huxley (Las Vegas Wranglers), whose 3-year term was due has been re-elected.

Mink and Segal were voted in by their peers at the 2013 PHPA Annual Meeting of Player Representatives and join Max Fortunus (Texas), Andrew Joudrey (Springfield), Boyd Kane (Hershey), and Mike McKenna (Peoria) who were previously elected on the American Hockey League (AHL) Executive Committee.

Huxley will continue to serve on the ECHL Executive Committee alongside Ryan Cruthers (Orlando), Cody Lampl (Toledo), Mike Little (Stockton), and TJ Reynolds (Greenville Road Warriors).

Jeff Kyrzakos (Arizona) and Scott Wray (Rapid City) comprise the Central Hockey League Executive Committee.

The members of the PHPA Executive Committee provide direction and oversight in dealing with various matters of importance to the Association and its Membership between meetings of PHPA Player Representatives. Elected Executives may serve three (3) seasons before having to be re-elected at the Association’s Annual Meeting of Player Representatives, traditionally held in June. Appointed Executives serve one (1) season, and are then subject to a formal election process.
