NIAGARA FALLS, ON…The Professional Hockey Players’ Association (PHPA) is pleased to announce a new partnership with OFX as the Official Currency Exchange Provider for the PHPA.
As part of the partnership, OFX will provide PHPA Members and the PHPA Alumni Network with preferred bank-beating exchange rates, no fees, no minimum or maximum transfer amounts, 24 / 7 live support, and fast and easy money transfers to save time and money when moving currency from A to B.
OFX will also become a presenting partner of the PHPA Annual Meeting of Player Representatives and will be featured on PHPA social media platforms through the hockey season.
Further, a percentage of all transfers will be directed to the PHPA Redline Program and PHPA Alumni Assistance Program, free programs available exclusively for PHPA Members and Alumni that offer support in various areas such as mental health, substance abuse, self-care, anxiety, depression, and more.

The PHPA is proud to announce a new partnership with Université Laval’s Faculty of Business Administration (FSA ULaval), expanding educational opportunities for PHPA members, alumni, and their families.
Two players have been suspended for 20 games for violating the terms of the AHL/PHPA Performance Enhancing Substance Program.
