Multi-year partnership supports AHL and ECHL players and PHPA alumni in owning their career record, during and after their playing days.

The Professional Hockey Players’ Association (PHPA), the certified collective bargaining representative of the players of the AHL and the ECHL, today named Elite Prospects a Strategic Partner in a multi-year agreement focused on the careers of its members and alumni. The partnership brings together the players’ association and the platform the hockey world uses to follow careers, with a shared goal: making sure every player’s career is recorded accurately, presented the way the player wants it, and seen by the people who matter for their next step.

The partnership spans three areas. First, it puts players in control of their profiles. The PHPA will encourage its members and alumni to claim, verify and maintain their Elite Prospects profiles. A verified profile lets a player make sure their career is presented accurately to the scouts, agents, coaches and teams who rely on Elite Prospects, with the ability to add video, see who is viewing them and be contacted directly. For alumni moving into coaching, scouting, player representation and hockey operations, a verified profile is also where their next career in the game begins.

Second, the two organizations will tell more of the players’ stories. Elite Prospects becomes the presenting partner of PHPA Player Rep Profiles, the PHPA’s Q&A interview series released throughout the season, and a partner of the Grow with the Pros! Mentor Program, which brings PHPA members together with young players in minor hockey. AHL and ECHL will also appear in Elite Prospects content, including podcasts and draft coverage, sharing their hockey journeys with fans around the world.

Third, Elite Prospects data will support the PHPA’s services to its membership. The PHPA will integrate Elite Prospects career and statistical data into its members-only platform.
