The soon-to-be released 2014-15 AHL Upper Deck set will feature 150 of the top players from the American Hockey League, with plenty of autograph cards, logo patches, and more.
The set is expected to be released in late March / early April, and will feature top scorers, All-Stars, and top prospects from all 30 AHL teams. Further the set will feature AHL team logo cards which include the history of each team, as well as logo cards for some of the League’s past franchises along with a team history.
“Fans and collectors will be thrilled with this year’s AHL Upper Deck set,” said Darryl Dionne, PHPA Director of Communications and Business Development. “The set features some of the best and brightest stars in the game with incredible graphics and top notch design features. A great means by which to showcase the League and it’s players.”
Some of the stars featured within the set include: William Nylander, Ty Rattie, Teemu Pulkkinen, Charles Hudon, Jacob Markstrom, Brian Dumoulin, Kerby Rychel, Ryan Spooner, Malcolm Subban, Jordan Weal, Jared Staal, Andrew Hammond, Anthony Mantha, Andrey Vasilevskiy, Derrick Pouliot, Brett Ritchie, Ryan Pulock, and many more.
During the PHPA Annual Meetings, Executive Director Brian Ramsay surprised Bert Villarini by naming him the latest recipient of the Curt Leichner Distinguished Member Award.
