- AHL graduates represented over 84 percent of players (628) on opening night NHL rosters to begin the 2015-16 season.
- 30 Players on AHL opening-night rosters have made their NHL debuts in 2015-16 thus far.
2014-15
- Last season, 865 AHL alumni played in the National Hockey League – 88.8 percent of all NHL players
