The Professional Hockey Players’ Association (PHPA) and BioSteel are pleased to announce the PHPA – BioSteel Performer of the Month Award recipients for the month of December.

Dustin Wolf of the Stockton Heat receives the BioSteel Performer of the Month Award for his high performance and consistency during the month of December.  Wolf backstopped the Heat with a perfect 7-0 record including a sparkling 1.40 goals against average and .951 save percentage.  The native of Gilroy, California currently sports a 15-1-2 record with the Heat this season.  He was also named the American Hockey League’s Goaltender of the Month for December. 

In the ECHL, Alexis D’Aoust of the Trois-Reivieres Lions receives the BioSteel Performer of the Month Award for demonstrating high performance and consistent play after registering points in all nine games played with the Lions throughout December.  D’Aoust recorded nine goals and nine assists during that span, including going +9.  His strong play was rewarded with an opportunity in the AHL with the Providence Bruins, where he notched a goal against the Laval Rocket on December 18^th.

Both players will receive a prize package courtesy of BioSteel in recognition of their accomplishments throughout the month.
