The Professional Hockey Players’ Association and BioSteel Sports are pleased to announce the February 2015 BioSteel Players of the Month from the American Hockey League (AHL) and ECHL.
Philipp Grubauer of the Hershey Bears receives the AHL BioSteel Award for demonstrating high performance and consistency after posting a 7-1 record throughout the month. Grubauer sported a 2.00 goals against average, a 0.934 save percentage, and earned 2 shutouts, leading the Bears to the top of the AHL Eastern Conference standings.
In the ECHL, Chad Costello of the Allen Americans receives the BioSteel Award for his high performance and consistent play. In 12 games played, Costello recorded 7 goals and 14 assists for 15 points, showed +6, and registered points in 9 of 12 games throughout the month, including 5 multiple point games. Costello currently leads the ECHL in scoring with a whopping 92 points.
Both players will receive complementary BioSteel product in recognition of their accomplishments throughout the month.
