The PHPA and BioSteel are pleased to announce the PHPA – BioSteel Performer of the Month Award recipients for the month of February.
Elliot Desnoyers of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms receives the BioSteel Performer of the Month Award for demonstrating consistent play and high performance throughout February. In 8 games, Desnoyers recorded 5 goals and collected 9 assists for 14 points, and was a +8. He then made his NHL debut with the Philadelphia Flyers on February 25th. Desnoyers, currently leads the Phantoms with 19 goals and 37 points.
In the ECHL, goaltender Adam Scheel of the Idaho Steelheads receives the BioSteel Performer of the Month Award for his high performance and consistency. Scheel posted 4 wins during the month, including a shutout on February 24th along with a 1.66 goals against average and .944 save percentage. Scheel is 16-5-1 in 22 appearances with the Steelheads this season and ranks third in the ECHL with a 2.14 goals-against average and tied for third with a .926 save percentage.
