Hartford Wolf Pack goaltender Dylan Garand is one of 15 players and the first goaltender to be named to Team Canada for the 2025 World Championship.
Garand had a stellar AHL season, posting a 20-10-9 record with a .913 SP and 2.73 GAA and represented the Atlantic Division at the AHL All-Star Game this season.
The 22-year-old has represented Canada at the cancelled 2021 and 2022 World Junior Championships, backstopping the team to an overtime gold medal win in 2022 against Finland.
A fourth round selection of the New York Rangers in 2020, Garand has amassed a record of 49-42-17 with a 2.92 GAA and .902 SP in 112 career AHL appearances.
The Victoria, BC., native won WHL Goaltender of the Year and was named to the WHL First All-Star Team while a member of the Kamloops Blazers in the 2021-22 season.
