The Professional Hockey Players’ Association and BioSteel are pleased to announce the March 2016 BioSteel Player of the Month Award recipients from the American Hockey League (AHL) and ECHL.
Carter Rowney of the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Penguins receives the AHL BioSteel Award for his high performance and consistency demonstrated throughout the month. Rowney recorded 7 goals and 10 assists for 17 points in 12 games played, including a 9-game point scoring streak during the month. His plus-minus of +8 during March increased his total to +26 on the season.
In the ECHL, Chad Costello of the Allen Americans receives the BioSteel Award for demonstrating high performance and consistent play. He notched at least a point in all 11 games played during the month, registering 3 goals and 16 assists to maintain his league lead in scoring.
Both players will receive a prize package courtesy of BioSteel in recognition of their accomplishments throughout the month of March.
