The Professional Hockey Players’ Association and BioSteel are pleased to announce the October 2018 PHPA-BioSteel Performer of the Month Award recipients from the American Hockey League (AHL) and ECHL.
Lawrence Pilut of the Rochester Americans receives the AHL BioSteel Award for his high performance and consistency demonstrated throughout the month of October. In 8 games played throughout October, the first-year defensemen had 2 goals and 11 assists for 13 points. Including a 6-game point streak and two 3-point games. Both of Pilut’s goals came on the powerplay and he finished the month with a +11 rating.
In the ECHL, James Henry of the Adirondack Thunder receives the BioSteel Award for demonstrating high performance and consistency. Henry lead the ECHL in scoring for the month of October with 2 goals and 15 assists for 17 points in 9 games played. He finished the month with a +8 rating and his 15 assists are good for the most in the ECHL.
Both players will receive a prize package courtesy of BioSteel in recognition of their accomplishments throughout the month of October.
