The Professional Hockey Players’ Association and BioSteel are pleased to announce the December 2018 PHPA-BioSteel Performer of the Month Award recipients from the American Hockey League (AHL) and ECHL. 

T.J Tynan of the Chicago Wolves receives the AHL BioSteel Award for his high performance and consistency demonstrated throughout the month of December.  Through 14 games played in December, Tynan tallied 3 goals and 11 assists for 14 points and had a +/- rating of +6.  During his impressive month of December, Tynan was only held off the scoresheet on two occasions and had points in 11 straight games helping the Wolves to a 10-3-1 record over December.

In the ECHL, Steven Iacobellis of the Wichita Thunder receives the BioSteel Award for demonstrating high performance and consistency.  In the month of December, Iacobellis recorded 18 points in 15 games played for Wichita.  His outstanding effort included 4 goals and 14 assists helping lead the Thunder to an 8-4-3 record in December.  Iocobellis started the month with a 10-game point streak and was only held pointless in three contests for December.  He currently sits third in ECHL scoring with 39 points.

Both players will receive a prize package courtesy of BioSteel in recognition of their accomplishments throughout the month of December.
