The Professional Hockey Players’ Association and BioSteel are pleased to announce the October 2019 PHPA-BioSteel Performer of the Month Award recipients from the American Hockey League (AHL) and ECHL.
Lucas Elvenes of the Chicago Wolves receives the AHL BioSteel Award for his high performance and consistency demonstrated throughout the month of October. Elvenes tallied 4 goals and 11 assists for 15 points and plus-minus rating of +4. The rookies impressive month included a 4-point night and 8 game point streak.
In the ECHL, Aaron Luchuk of the Newfoundland Growlers receives the BioSteel Award for demonstrating high performance and consistency. In the month of October, Luchuk played 8 games, notching 5 goals and 9 assists for 14 points and plus-minus rating of +3. Luchuk currently sits atop the ECHL in scoring.
Both players will receive a prize package courtesy of BioSteel in recognition of their accomplishments throughout the month of October.
