The Professional Hockey Players’ Association (PHPA) and BioSteel are pleased to announce the PHPA – BioSteel Performer of the Month Award recipients for the month of April.
Chris Terry of the Bridgeport Islanders receives the BioSteel Performer of the Month Award for his high performance and consistency during the final month of the Regular Season. Terry recorded points in 7 of 8 games, including 8 goals and 8 assists, was +3, and finished the season on a 4-game point scoring streak. One of the most decorated players in AHL history, Terry led the Islanders in assists (51) and points (78) in 67 games played.
In the ECHL, Hank Crone of the Allen Americans receives the BioSteel Performer of the Month Award for demonstrating high performance and consistent play. In a combined 13 Regular Season and Playoff games during April, Crone notched 18 points, including 7 goals and 11 assists. Crone was selected as the ECHL’s 2022-23 Most Valuable Player, ECHL Rookie of the Year, and led the League with 49 goals and 105 points during the Regular Season.
