The Professional Hockey Players’ Association and BioSteel are pleased to announce the December 2016 PHPA-BioSteel Performer of the Month Award recipients from the American Hockey League (AHL) and ECHL.
Troy Grosenick of the San Jose Barracuda receives the AHL BioSteel Award for his high performance and consistency demonstrated throughout the month. In nine games played, the goaltender from Brookfield, WI posted a 5-1-1 record, including 3 consecutive complete game shutouts.
In the ECHL, Spencer Asuchak of the Allen Americans receives the BioSteel Award for demonstrating high performance and consistent play after notching 7 goals and adding 13 assists for 20 points in 14 games, with a +/- of +9 during December.
Both players will receive a prize package courtesy of BioSteel in recognition of their accomplishments throughout the month of December.
