The Professional Hockey Players’ Association and BioSteel are pleased to announce the October 2016 BioSteel Player of the Month Award recipients from the American Hockey League (AHL) and ECHL.
Brendan Leipsic of the Toronto Marlies receives the AHL BioSteel Award for his high performance and consistency throughout the month. With 13 points in 8 games, Leipsic leads the league in scoring with 3 goals and 10 assists. He is also a +6, while averaging 1.63 points per game. He was also named the October Player of the Month by the AHL.
In the ECHL, Lindsay Sparks of the Rapid City Rush receives the BioSteel Award for demonstrating high performance and consistent play. Sparks currently leads the league in scoring with 14 points, having recorded 7 goals and 7 assists in 8 games, while registering at least a point in every game throughout the month.
Both players will receive a prize package courtesy of BioSteel in recognition of their accomplishments throughout the first month of the regular season.
