(Niagara Falls, ON) The Professional Hockey Players’ Association (PHPA) is pleased to announce a number of additions to the 2013-14 player Executive Committee.
Jason Jaffray (St.John’s Ice Caps) and Greg Rallo (San Antonio Rampage), who were elected as Alternates at the 2013 Annual Meeting of Player Representatives, will join Max Fortunus (Texas Stars), Andrew Joudrey (Springfield Falcons), Mike McKenna (Springfield Falcons), and Brandon Segal (Hershey Bears) on the American Hockey League Executive.
Elected Alternates Riley Nelson (Colorado Eagles) and Brett Robinson (Idaho Steelheads) have been added to the ECHL Executive and will serve alongside Adam Huxley (Las Vegas Wranglers) and Mike Little (Florida Everblades).
John Snowden (Allen Americans), who was also an elected Alternate will join Scott Wray (Rapid City Rush) to comprise the Central Hockey League Executive.
Members of the PHPA Executive Committee are elected from all Player Representatives at the Association’s Annual Meeting of Player Representatives and provide direction and oversight in dealing with various matters of importance to the PHPA and its Membership. Elected Executives may serve three (3) seasons before having to be re-elected.
“The Executive Committee is an integral aspect to the successful day to day operation of the PHPA. I would like to thank the outgoing members for their guidance and dedication throughout the years, while welcoming the new additions, who bring years of collective experience representing their fellow Members to the Executive Committee,” said PHPA Executive Director, Larry Landon. “I look forward to working closely with these proactive young professionals as they further develop into leaders both on and off the ice. Many past members of the PHPA Executive Committee have gone on to successful careers in the sport and business industries, using this valuable experience to help launch their post playing careers.”

Since its inception in 1967, the Professional Hockey Players’ Association (PHPA) has continued to serve as an advocate of player interests. Currently, the PHPA is the certified, U.S. National Labor Relations Board collective bargaining representative for over 1,500 players across 62 teams throughout the American Hockey League, ECHL, and Central Hockey League.
